pregnancy relaxation class

a four week course


This class is a great way to take a deeper to dive into some of the areas that we cover in weekly pregnancy yoga classes, with more time for discussion and questions each week ending with a wonderful guided relaxation to give you time to truly unwind.

This 1 hour class will begin with time to check in, chat and find out how your week has been and if there is any particular area that you want to focus on, as well as the chance to get to know other people on the course.

Over the course of 4 weeks we will delve a little deeper into the following areas: 

Breathing and Birth - why the two go hand in hand
Pelvic Floor & Core - how to work WITH your pelvic floor during pregnancy and it's role during birth
Yoga for birth - an exploration of yoga poses that can be beneficial during labour and birth, looking at the why and when of different positions
Birthing with balls - the use of birth balls during labour and birth

Each week we will also practice a guided breathing technique, gentle movement and finish with a guided relaxation using as many props and bolsters as you want to get you really comfortable so you can truly relax.

This is a 4 week course to be booked as a four week block running on Mondays, 7.30pm - 8.30pm.
